The Brookings Institution recently ranked 100 metro areas for unemployment rate. Oklahoma City ranked at the fifth lowest unemployment, at 6 percent, according to the Kansas City Star.
Oklahoma state revenue collections in February 2010 exceeded the estimate for the first time in over two years, showing fast economic recovery relative to the nation as a whole.
